This place is a hidden gem in the tunnels underneath OKC! People know where great Chinese food is because this place is busy every lunch hour! A must whenever I am downtown.
The buffet table offers a great variety and is always fresh and hot! Friendly family run business, the place is immaculate!
Now that you know it's there, find it! You won't be disappointed! -

China Chef is truly a downtown OKC hidden gem. Literally. Located in the underground tunnels, this Chinese buffet does not disappoint. While hidden, a lot of us downtown employees have discovered how great it is, and it's typically pretty packed at lunch.
Why, you ask? It's a 6-7 dollar all you can eat lunch buffet! And believe me, the food is YUMMY. And when you're ready for something sweet, they also serve unlimited Blue Bell ice cream! -

Fondly referred to as "Tunnel Chinese" by my office mates, China Chef is the best, and perhaps only Chinese buffet downtown. We like it because it is accessible from the courthouse through the downtown tunnels, so you can go on a walk without rain, cold, or the summer's miserable heat.
The food is pretty good. I like to get their steamed rice, grilled chicken, green beans, and crab rangoon. The last time we went, they were nearly out of everything. It took us awhile to get a table and then to get something to eat. I'd recommend eating only one plate of food, so that way you can have room for the ice cream without having indigestion at your desk later that afternoon. They have large buckets of blue bell that are self serve. -

This place was kinda hard to find considering the fact that it's underground. But once you find it you'll be glad you chose to eat there. The buffet they have here has a great variety and it's only about $7-$8! The sweet&sour chicken/generals chicken was pretty #dank if you ask me. And to top it off, they have blue bell ice cream.

This is a better than average Chinese buffet in basement of 101 Park in downtown OKC. It's got a decent amount of seating, and like all downtown places, it fills up quickly at lunch time. We arrived on a Tuesday at 11:45 and every 4 top was full. There were a couple of 2 tops, but we had 4 people, so we had to wait. The owner saw us and helped us scout a table, and when one came open, it was bussed and cleaned very quickly.
The buffet has white rice and fried rice, although the only other ingredient in the fried rice appeared to be soy sauce. No eggs, no veggies, certainly no meat. China Chef has the usual Chinese takeout style dishes: beef with broccoli, pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, etc. I tried all three of these, in addition to a couple of other choices. The beef dishes were tender and flavorful. Likewise, the chicken was good, but it is small and fried, so it wasn't as juicy as I'd like. They have another station with egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried bread, and soups. The crab Rangoon was a favorite, it's the smallest version of this dish I've had but it had a ton of flavor. Fried very well, it was crispy, not greasy, and not over-fried. We were all stuffed, but they have ice cream for dessert if you're so inclined.
Service was great throughout, people are constantly coming through the dining area to clean and bus tables. Every employee I came in contact with was very friendly. Also, the price is great for a quick lunch downtown. I'll absolutely return.
